Smart PDU with touch screen LCD not only provides power distribution for rack and cabinet mounted electrical equipment but also provides local and remote power monitoring of single outlets and circuits through the network, showing data for current (AMP), voltage (Volt), power (kW), energy consumption (kWh) and power factor of entire PDU.
This smart PDU offers 8 Schuko sockets and input with an IEC C20 power inlet. It can be used to help data centers effectively reduce costs and maximize energy efficiencies across devices. A comprehensive selection of monitoring features, such as specified outlet metering, input current monitoring, power outlet monitoring, notifications of potential issues, and other alarm functions, is included. Having a built-in circuit breaker with prompt overload protection response helps prevent potential circuit overloads that can lead to unplanned power outages of critical equipment.
This network-managed PDU is compatible for 19 inches server racks and cabinets, 1U height makes the rack space used more effective. Supporting daisy chain connections allows multiple PDUs to be connected together for monitoring and controlling. It eliminates the need for each PDU to be individually connected to a server to greatly reduce the materials and labor required for on-site construction. Multiple PDUs can share a single IP address and can connect to the server using a single group of network cables.
