Having daisy-chain function allows multiple PDUs to be cascaded together to be monitored and controlled. This eliminates the need for each PDU to be individually connected to a server to greatly reduce the materials and labor required for on-site construction. Multiple PDUs can share a single IP address and can connect to the server using a single group of network cables.

Monitoring capabilities can help you remotely access critical data on power usage in real time, examine historical trends, and even remotely manage power usage.
