Each Smart PDU has a LCD touch screen and offers power management and monitoring via remote control.
Unlike traditional PDUs, this Smart PDU Series uses a touch panel and provides a large Data Center with multiple levels of power distribution solutions. It not only has built-in surge protector to ensure that power equipments are protected from lightning and circuit overload but also adds functionalities such as remote monitoring, energy management, and forward-looking design platform to provide real-time outlet and PDU information.
The multi-level power monitoring and remote outlet switching not only helps IT administrators and facility managers to efficiently manage servers remotely via web-based management interface with touch panel settings without having to go to the server room, but also allows them to keep track of the power status of each cabinet and outlet to improve system uptime and workforce productivity.
Intelligent PDU enables efficient use of power resources and makes smarter capacity planning decisions, as well as saving power and money. The instrumentation and control features can improve the energy efficiency and environmental performance of the data center. Smart PDU Power Management System: Efficient and User-Friendly
The Smart PDU Power Management System has been developed to work with the Ahoku Smart PDU series, effectively increasing the efficiency of PDU usage. The software provides a single portal to manage multiple PDUs. This program enables you to manage all PDUs on a single computer screen, recording the individual IP address of each PDU for easier system management. After a one-time setup, the software allows for renaming each PDU and monitoring parameters such as current, voltage, power factor (PF), kWh, and the status of each outlet, all on one screen. A single screen can display approximately 14 PDUs, with the option to scroll down to view more. PDU summary view enhances everyday usability, making the system more user-friendly.

Ahoku Smart Power Distribution Unit is capable of metering current, Active Power, PF and kWh by outlet, managing, and controlling power ON/OFF to multiple devices. Featuring touch screen display provides easy-to-read information about amperage, voltage, watt, IP address and other important PDU information (0.36’). Tap the outlet icon to switch on and off and view the current and energy information of each outlet (0.50’). Tap the setting icon to set up the IP, overload threshold, language and firmware upgrade (1.10’). A user-friendly interface of PDU is easy to handle and to know power consumption for environment safety.
